The mane attraction! Zendaya lets her hair down as she goes against the grain in Dolce & Gabbana ball gown at the Met Gala.

Zendaya was embracing what nature gave her at this year's Met Gala in New York City on Monday.

The 20-year-old singer and actress wore her hair big and frizzy to the event.

The former Disney starlet went against the grain in a Dolce & Gabbana ball gown, which was quite different than this year's theme focusing on Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo's outlandish aesthetic.

The full-skirt flowed onto the floor, and was also printed with orange and white flowers.

Her off-the-shoulder gown also featured a ruched bodice.

The brunette beauty kept the rest of her look simple, opting for just a costume ring on the night.

She wore a burnt orange lip, which complimented her statement dress.

Zendaya was spotted giggling as she struggled to make her way up the stairs in her long, overflowing dress.

The upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming actress tried in vain to lift the front of her dress as she made her way inside the event. 

But it appears she did eventually make it inside, taking to Snapchat to share a photo from inside the prestigious gala.

Posting a photo from the candlelight dinner, Zendaya gave fans a glimpse of what goes on inside the gala.

In the photo, her half-eaten salad can be seen in front of her, along with a place card with her name. 

And the table is filled with candles, glass goblets and flower displays.
