She sizzled on the
MET Gala red carpet in her striking Stella McCartney white gown earlier in the evening.
Now,
Kate Hudson,
38, swapped her sensational designer threads for a show-stopping red
fringe flapper inspired dress as she dashed for the after-party on
Monday night in
New York.
The
Hollywood actress was dressed to impress in her 1920s look as she made
her way to her waiting car in her head-turning blood red look, before
changing outfits again just hours later.
Swapping her asymmetrical one-shoulder evening dress, Kate slipped into
the flirty fringe ensemble which fell stylishly to her ankles,
illustrating the ombré coloured detail to continue her night out on the
tiles.
Her sleeveless tassled dress also featured
a chic caplet draped over a single shoulder for dramatic effect, while
the cocktail number swayed to the movements of her body.
Oozing
style, the Almost Famous star complemented her head-turning party dress
with gold metallic accessorise that gave her single toned look an extra
dimension.
Adding inches to her petite frame, the
daughter of Goldie Hawn slipped on pair of platform peep-toe platforms
that matched her eye-catching clutch.
Although
keeping her tresses in a sleek top knot, Kate added a vibrant red lip
to her beauty look as she transitioned from the formal fashion ball to
her night out with pals.
Showcasing her
slender pins, the beauty teased at her bronzed legs as she graceful
navigated her way into her waiting car while the look's fringe detailing
draped over her.
As she party-hopped throughout the night, Kate was later spotted in another bright and bold dress for a few hours at 1OAK.
The stunning star swapped her red for orange, baring her impressive abs in the tight, cut-out number.
With an a-symmetric neckline, the actress, who works incredibly hard on her fitness, showed off her toned and tanned shoulders.
The midi-length number clung to her sensational figure, while she kept things simple by wearing the same gold peep-toe heels.
Kate's red hot display comes after she
wowed on the red carpet of the inaugural MET Gala earlier in the evening
- which was chaired by Anna Wintour and co-chairs Katy Perry, Pharrell
Williams and honorary chair Rei Kawakubo, womenwear's designer of Comme
des Garcons.
Following the theme Comme
des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between, she stunned in a white
one-shouldered look from British designer Stella McCartney.
It
is the first time the gala and exhibit has focused on one living
designer since 1983, when it highlighted the work of Yves Saint
Laurent.
Costume Institute curator
Andrew Bolton, told AP that Kawakubo is considered the world's 'most
important and influential designer' of the moment and 'has consistently
defined and re-defined the aesthetics of our time.'
